I saw you today
in the still hold of a raindrop
on a curled fern frond,
So small

I’ve seen your same design
in the Whirlpool galaxy on high

for us to find.

Did you think we wouldn’t catch you out?
Your glory splashed across the sky
Spilled in splatterings of grace,

Galaxies of glory whirling by
underfoot,
before our eyes,
